I heart iphones

I officially know how long I can comfortably survive without a phone.  I used it on Sunday and noticed it was dying...did I plug it in?  Of course not...I would rather listen to the incessant beep and then let it die in an unknown location in my house (apparently, cause that's what I did). Two days later, still no phone despite all of my searching.  What did I do today? Well, I got myself an iphone, and I'm proud of it.  I'm sorta glad I can't find my old one, but I do hope it turns up eventually just so I can stop wondering where it is.  I'm rather enjoying my first smart phone and even know how to use itunes now (because the guy at the Verizon store set up my account, haha).  So in other words, I have officially joined the 21st century. Yay.

This little one was sleepy, just how I like my little newborn clients.

Utah Baby Photography

Editing pictures makes me REALLY bad at doing laundry.  I guess I can get to that clothes mountain tomorrow...or maybe I should just buy new ones.  ha...if only. Editing this little man
 was way more fun.

Couple Photography

I know I've said this before, but keep your eyes out when you are driving around town, it doesn't take much for a great spot to take pictures.  This is a small little spot on the side of the road, just right for taking pictures of 2 people.

These are two of my favorite people.  They've been married 8 or 9 years and still got it!

Big hats and bows

I have been waiting to use this darling hat. This little sweetie was so much fun. It's probably fairly evident but in my opinion, the bigger the bow/hat the better.  I'm so glad her mom agreed:)

Top two reasons why your husband should lose his job:

I've been meaning to post this for a while now but better late than never.  My husband was out of work early November through mid-January and while it was difficult we learned so many things.  I went back to work full-time for those months.  As a result of being away I really learned:

1. How much I love being a stay-at-home mom.
2. How much I appreciate my husband and his sacrifice of being gone a lot to provide for the family

While this way of life seems old fashioned to most of the world, I'd have to say I love it.  I dare say I'm almost grateful for the hard-times because of the lessons learned in the meantime. And I'm also glad I'm back to taking more pictures:) I'm so grateful for photography, for the way it lets me document my family life, and for how it lets me "work" while still being a stay-at-home Mom.

This little one is always SO cooperative.....here's a few from her one-year-old session
